What new information has emerged?

The information that has emerged is that the U.S. Vice-president, Dick Cheney was almost attacked by the Taliban, a terrorist group in Afghanistan, while he was on a visit there.A suicide bomber had placed a bomb outside the main U.S. Base in Afghanistan. There are said to be 5-15 people killed in the attack.

What is interesting about this topic?

he interesting fact about the topic is that even though he Taliban is no longer in power, they still do try to kill people and place bombs. Another interesting thing is that even though Mr. Cheney was inside the main base camp, he was still attacked and it shows that Afghanistan, is still not a very safe place to live.
